From now on, we decided to give you here an overview of what we discovered ; you can still found every link we marked at the end of this post. This month, the Torino Book Fair took place and discussed in particular the future of the (always growing) digital libraries. Don’t forget that’s also in Torino that will take place the LTR Section’s official Satellite Meeting just before the WLIC in Lyon. About that, you should know that news about the congress are coming every week now : for instance, you may be interested by the 2014 IFLACamp, organized by the New Professionals Special Interest Group at enssib (french national LIS school) in Villeurbanne on 14-15th August. Registration is open, and, as we write these lines, 60 places are still available ! Oh, and if you’re already in the area of Lyon and enssib, you should really come there next week for a very promising Study Day called “Open data and libraries : a matter of librarians ? Yes, but not only…” (in french).

Dorénavant, nous avons décidé de vous proposer ici un aperçu des principales trouvailles de notre veille ; vous pouvez toujours retrouver à la fin de ce post la liste complète des liens que nous avons relevés. Ce mois-ci a eu lieu le Salon du Livre de Turin : on y a notamment parlé du futur des bibliothèques numériques, en plein essor. N’oubliez pas que c’est aussi à Turin qu’aura lieu la conférence satellite officielle de la Section LTR, juste avant le congrès de l’IFLA à Lyon. À ce propos, chaque semaine qui passe voit maintenant son lot de nouvelles informations sur le congrès : par exemple, vous pourriez être intéressé/e/s par l’IFLACamp 2014, organisé par le New Professionals Special Interest Group à l’enssib (à Villeurbanne) les 14-15 août. Les inscriptions sont ouvertes, et à l’heure où nous écrivons ces lignes, il reste encore 60 places ! Ah, et si vous êtes déjà dans la région de Lyon et de l’enssib, vous devriez vraiment venir à la journée d’étude très prometteuse qui y est organisée la semaine prochaine : “Open data et bibliothèques : une affaire de bibliothécaires ? Oui, mais pas que…“.
