New translation of Guidelines

Thanks to the Association des Professeurs Documentalistes de l’Éducation Nationale (A.P.D.E.N.) there is now a French translation of the School Library Guidelines (2nd ed.) The proposal for a new book on school library education has been approved by IFLA and by the publisher DeGruyter Saur. The co-editors, Dr. Barbara Schultz-Jones (USA) and Dr. Dianne Oberg (Canada), will be issuing a call for chapter proposals later this month.
