If you’re interested in astrology in medieval and modern culture, this publication might be for you. The second volume of the Catalogus Codicum Astrologorum Latinorum is out. Edited by David Juste, it describes 350 manuscripts from the National Library of France, dating from the ninth century to the eighteenth century. These manuscripts are one of the largest funds in Latin astrology in the world. You can find more information on the IRHT website, or directly on CNRS Editions website.

Si vous vous intéressez à l’astrologie dans la culture médiévale et moderne, cette parution pourrait être pour vous. Le second volume du Catalogus Codicum Astrologorum Latinorum a été publié. Edité par David Juste, il décrit 350 manuscrits the la Bibliothèque Nationale de France, datant du IXe siècle au XVIIIe siècle. Ces manuscrits constituent l’un des plus importants fonds en matière d’astrologie latine au monde. A new resource in book history is available. FAMA (Fama Actorum Medii Aevi) is a collaborative project between the Ecole nationale des Chartes and the IRHT. The database gathers information on medieval latin works which have known a wide diffusion. The aim is to better understand their audience and their spreading through times and locations.

Une nouvelle ressource en histoire du livre est disponible. FAMA (Fama Actorum Medii Aevi) est un projet collaboratif entre l’Ecole nationale des Chartes et l’IRHT. La base de données rassemble des informations sur les œuvres médiévales latines qui ont bénéficié d’une large diffusion. Le but est de mieux comprendre leur public et leur propagation à travers le temps et les lieux. Vous pouvez accéder à la base de données ici.
