Information Without Borders: side event at SCCR27

On Friday 2 May 2014, the International Federation of Library Associations & Institutions (IFLA) presented a side event, Information Without Borders: libraries and archives in a global information ecosystem, at the World Intellectual Property Organisation.

IFLA invited a range of organisations to express their own views on exceptions and limitations for libraries and archives, and the way forward at WIPO.

Speakers included: Dr. Paul Ayris, President of Association of European Research Libraries (LIBER); Professor Ronan Deazley, University of Glasgow and Scottish Council on Archives (SCA); Trish Hepworth, Copyright law and policy adviser for the Australian Libraries Copyright Committee; Barbara Szczepańska, Poznan Foundation of Scientific Libraries; and Dr. Manon Ress, Director of Information Society Projects, Knowledge Ecology International. Below you can find the presentations from each of the speakers.

Videos will be made available next week.
