Adult Learning Collection

September 8th is International Literacy Day — Reading the Past, Writing the Future / Lire le passé, écrire l’avenir

The UK’s RaPAL (Research and Practice in Adult Literacies) and Australia’s ACAL (Australian Council for Adult Literacy) are delighted to announce their new publication: a free learner voice resource for adult education titled: Resilience: Stories of Adult Learning.  Learner stories were collected from across Australia and the United Kingdom, and include voices spanning much of the earth. Both the learners’ experiences and the community activity to help these adults are inspirational. This free e-resource will be available in e-book, pdf and web format starting September 8, 2016, http://rapal.org.uk/resilience/  It is pre-listed on major e-book catalogues and platforms, so please ask local and college libraries. For paperback, contact resilience@rapal.org.uk
