IFLA WLIC 2014 | #2 LTR Conference

Dear followers,

today we present you a second article on the 2014 IFLA Congress. Yesterday we had the opportunuity to attend the LTR Conference on the theme : Libraries in the political process: benefits and risks of political visibility

It was a very interesting conference with four different contributions. Originally there had to be six presentations, but unfortunately, two of the speakers had to cancel their venue to the congress. Nevertheless here is a little overview of what the speakers have presented to the audience. If you are interested and you could not attend this conference, the papers are on the IFLA Library website

If you’re there too, please come and talk to us during the congress : you may find some of us among the volunteers, or at the My French Library stand in the exhibition floor, or at the LTR meetings, or at enssib… or just whenever we cross !

Dear followers,

the team is taking some holidays while preparing the big upcoming event : the IFLA congress, which will take place in august in Lyon. Therefore, the information monitoring articles are taking holidays too and there will be no article  the coming month.

We remind you, that you can still follow our monitoring on twitter and on our Diigo’s : Book History, History of Libraries and Library and Information Sciences.

The articles on monitoring will resume in september. Until then, we plan on  preparing some articles on the LTR section during the congress especially for you.
