The IFLA World Library and Information Congress will be held in Singapore this year. As in past events, the Government Libraries Section will be sponsoring some activities during the Congress. One of them is the session “Information for Development Action: Governments, Civil Society and Libraries“, which is mainly organised by the Government Information and Official Publications Section.
This joint session will focus on trends and patterns of information creation and dissemination in the fields of international economic development and poverty. If you are interested in participating as speaker, you can take a look to the Call for Papers. The deadline for proposals is February 15.
On coming weeks we will be informing on the other activities where we are taking part in Singapore.
